West Coast Environmental Law
West Coast Environmental Law is BC's legal champion
for the environment. Through legal advice, education
and advocacy, West Coast provides citizens and organizations
with the knowledge, tools and innovative solutions needed
to protect the environment and build sustainability
locally, nationally and internationally.

Smart Growth BC
Smart Growth BC is a provincial non-governmental organization
devoted to fiscally, socially and environmentally responsible
land use and development. Working with community groups,
businesses, municipalities and the public, they advocate
for the creation of more livable communities in BC.

Smart Growth on the Ground (BC)
Smart Growth on the Ground is a program to change the
way that development is done in BC, by creating real,
built examples of smart growth. This unique program
helps BC communities to prepare more sustainable neighbourhood
plans — including land use, transportation, urban
design, and building design plans. SGOG is a partnership
of the Design Centre for Sustainability at UBC, the
Real Estate Institute of BC, and Smart Growth BC.
