Anti-Idling

One of the most powerful arguments in favour of reduced idling is an economic one. Idling wastes fuel — and wasted fuel is wasted money. There is also the sad truth that idling adds harmful pollutants into the air.

The Anti-Idling section of this Website addresses vehicle emissions, specifically through anti-idling campaigns. We will include information about emissions from smaller engines in 2007.

This section will help you:

  1. develop an in-house anti-idling program
  2. introduce an anti-idling program in your community.

Good luck. And remember: one step at a time!
